Biography
Analia Perez is a third-year Therapeutic Recreation student on the NCTRC track while pursuing minors in dance and psychology. Her current ambitions are to utilize her knowledge in the profession to improve inclusivity and accessibility within community leisure and recreation. From teaching dance to young children to volunteering in retirement communities and the University’s UI REACH program, she has gained experience in multiple settings among a vast collection of individuals. Within the lab, she assists with assessments, leads field sessions, and analyzes the findings of studies specifically relating to fall risk minimization in older adults.
